Saturday October 19, ARISS contact scheduled with schools in Italy

 

October 19, 2013 an International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Istituto Comprensivo, Marzocchino Di Seravezza and Comprensivo Camaiore 3, Camaiore, Italy. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 15:55 UTC, which is 17:55 CEST.

 

The contact will be a direct between IRØISS and IQ5VR.

 

The downlink signal will be audible in Europe on 145.800MHz FM.

 

The event will be webcast live on https://www.livestream.com/amsat_italia

 

The Comprehensive School "Camaiore" 3, with a school population of about 900 students, is located in the town of "Camaiore", and consists of "Capezzano" Childhood, Primary and Middle school, "Vado" Childhood and Primary school, "Frati" Primary school and "Santa Lucia" Childhood.

 

The territory of Camaiore is delimited by the Apuan mountains and the sea, an environment in the foothill slopes towards the Versilia coast. The schools of the Comprehensive Institute serve the population of the central area, characterized by a large plane and some fraction on the first hills.

 

The radio contact is expected to be conducted in Italian.

 

Participants, aged 13-14, will ask as many of the following questions as time allows:

2. Tu hai avuto paura quando il casco della  tuta ti ha dato problemi?

3. Quante missioni svolgete in un anno sulla ISS?

4. Hai avuto mai paura durante i primi giorni della sua avventura nello spazio?

6. Ci sono mai stati incidenti nello spazio sulla ISS?

7. Cosa mangiate di solito?

8. Quale è la cosa che guardando la terra dallo spazio ti colpisce di più ?

9. Tu cosa fai nel tempo libero ?

10. So che sei uscito dalla ISS. Cosa hai  provato?

11. Qual’ è la temperatura nello spazio?

12. Quale è il ritmo sonno/ sveglia nello spazio?

13. Tu credi che esistano altre forme di vita oltre che nella terra ?

14. Sei orgoglioso di essere un astronauta  e soprattutto di portare l’Italia nello spazio?

15. Quante volte comunichi con la tua famiglia?

16. Perché le agenzie spaziali non tentano di raggiungere altri pianeti oltre a Marte?

17. Cosa accade se ti ammali?

18. è stato molto difficile l’addestramento per andare nello spazio?

19. Quale è lo scopo della tua missione?

20. Quale percezione hai della velocità della ISS?

21. Come ti tieni in forma fisica sulla stazione spaziale?

22. Quale sensazione si prova a stare in assenza di gravità?

23. Che aspetto ha la ISS ed è confortevole viverci?

24. Come fate a sopportare la lontananza da casa?

25. Quanti astronauti può contenere la stazione?

26. I voli spaziali saranno possibili anche per noi?

ARISS is an international educational outreach program partnering the participating space agencies, NASA, Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA, with the AMSAT and IARU organizations from participating countries.

 

ARISS offers an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly with crewmembers onboard the International Space Station. Teachers, parents and communities see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and crewmembers on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology and learning.
